Soft, succulent strawberries are difficult to find store bought but they are very easy to grow.

Choose your type:

Day-Neutral/Everbearing strawberries produce flowers regardless of day length, as long as temperatures are between 40 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Day-Neutral and Everbearing varieties show similar production traits.

June-bearing strawberries initiate flowers under short days in the fall. The flowers open the following spring and produce fruit for around 4 to 6 weeks, from mid May to June.
